The model:  Mark built this Beacon Plumbing boat for the 2008 season.  The new boat is top notch and was a front-runner all season.  The boat was purchased by Dale Schroeder for 2009.  This is a beautiful boat.  Mark visited the U-37 shop and built this beautiful model with their help.  The Schumacher Racing crew even hooked him up with paint and graphics to match their boat exactly.  Mark sold it to Dale Schroeder for a hot minute, then bought it back.  Mark had it back on the water for the 2009 Apple Cup.

The real boat:  Billy Schumacher hit the scene as an owner in 2005 after purchasing the U-8 Bill Wurster team.  They had a very successful 2006 season with skillful driver Jean Theoret behind the wheel.  In 2007 they will hit the water with a new boat and revitalize the famous checkerboard paint scheme of the Miss Bardahl, which Billy "The Kid" drove to fame in 1968.
