This boat was Classic Thunder's 2004 season champion.  Mitch sold the boat to Brent for the 2007 season after it sat on the shelf for a couple of years.  Brent sold it to 2008 rookie Gene Melang to cut his teeth in division 2.  Gene looks to get a bunch of wheel time with it and learn the ropes before building one of his favorate unlimiteds later on.

The real boat:  Ron Jones Jr. designed and built this revolutionary 2-wing boat, which raced in three 1992 races.  It was the boat that Dave Villwock drove to his first victory in.  After losing the Coors sponsorship, Jones and Villwock campaigned the boat as a Circus Circus.  The boat was damages in Detroit and the backup boat was damaged in a blowover shortly after that.  The team fell apart and Circus Circus would never sponsor an unlimited hydroplane again. The 2 wing raced later as a Miss Exide 2 and Miss Sammamish Lake Watch, but never really lived up to it's lofty expectations.  The center section was later filled in and has been a successful contender under the ownership of Mike and Lori Jones.  The boat won the 2001 Gold Cup for the Jones race team and driver Mike Hanson.  It has been campaigned recently as the U-9 Skyway Park Bowl and Casino.
