Jeff Howard built and raced this boat in 2004, shelved it and then sold it to Darin in 2009.  Darin revamped the workings, put in brushless gear, changed a few other things and dominated racing in PSFEMBC with it.  He brought the boat out for CT racing at the 2010 Governors Cup and showed plenty of speed. Darin plans to refurbish the aging boat with a new paint scheme for 2011 and will undoubtedly be a force in the seasons to come.

The real boat:  The boat was built in 1988 as Miss Madison and powered by a Turbo Allison engine.  With the help of the Budweiser crew, the boat was upgraded to turbine power in 1991.  Driven by Mike Hanson, the boat had some very strong finishes as the Dewalt.  The hull is still competing and is will be racing in 2004 as the Oh Boy Oberto.
