Dave bought the boat in 2010.  The model had been raced primarily in ERCU by Jeff Campbell and a few other owners.  The boat is light and fast and debuted for Dave at the CT Governors Cup.  He's still getting used to this one and working out the kinks, but we should see some good things out of the Hemi Pak in the future.

The real boat:  The boat debuted as a twin automotive powered boat with high promise.  The project showed glimpses of success, but reliability of the running gear was its downfall.  The boat was quickly converted to Rolls Royce Merlin power and the driver cockpit was moved to the rear.  After that the boat had great success in the early 1970's.  It is probably best known for it's success as Miss Budweiser in 1973-75.
