The model:  Ron bought this model from Mark for 2010 and replaced the lost cowling.  Mark built the boat a few years ago but shelved the project after losing the cowl.  It was a copy of his very successful Beacon Plumbing boat, but never saw any race time.  It has a servo actuated canard wing and an adjustable rear wing.  Ron debuted the boat as a rookie driver at the 2010 Silver Cup, running the boat well.  He plans to run it hard in 2011 after trimming out the ride a bit more.

The real boat:  San Diego's Freedom Racing built this boat after their boat burned at Seafair in 2006.  It was raced briefly in 2007 as the Plumbing Joint, then sat until it was purchased by the Go Fast, Turn Left Racing Team for 2010. It is now campaigned as the Miss Albert Lee.
