This model first hit the water for testing at our 2005 Seafair Trophy Race.  It is the first hydro from the father-son team of Tony and Danny Minalia.  These two are brand new to the club and have tons of enthusiasm.  The boat got on plane and ran, which is great for their very first scratch built effort in CT.  Good job guys!  We hope to see them get qualified to drive in competition very soon. They've got the right attitude and we look forward to seeing them around building and racing boats for a long time.  Tony says that they are in the process of building a My Gypsy and plan to add couple of other boats by next season.

This hull was a past champion in '73,'74 and '75 as the Pay'n Pak and in '76 as Atlas Van Lines.  The boat ran under such names as Miss Madison, Rich Plan and Frank Kenney Toyota for a while and was then campaigned as American Speedy Printing starting in 1984. The boat was driven by veteran driver, Ron Snyder.
