Info about the model: Dave built the model in seven weeks during the summer of 2003.  Having built the boat in 1/8th scale, this was his second scale model of this boat.  It was a blast to build.  It proved to be very fast and was always a threat.  Dave may be replacing this boat in 2005.

Info about the real boat: This hull was built mainly of aluminum in a garage in north Seattle.  It raced under as The Boat, Miss Rock and Oberto.  It actually raced under 22 different names over the years.  It’s best finish was a second place in the 1983 Seafair race.
