The model:  This is the third time Pete has built this boat. It is always very light and fun to drive. This one didn't disappoint. It's one of the fastest boats out there but had a little trouble finishing heats due to hull and drivetrain difficulties. It raced in 8 races in 2021, finishing fourth in season points. It's got all sorts of potential, but it's future is uncertain.

About the real boat:  The boat showed promise in the engine department, running twin Ford motors.  However, a very ill handling hull overshadowed any potential of the automotive power.  Both Wheeler Baker and Todd Yarling spent time behind the wheel in 1988.
