The model: This is a beautiful model that Mark first brought out for preseason testing in spring of 2008.  We didn't see it again until Mark sold it to Dale in the middle of the 2008 season.  I made its debut at the Apple Cup.  Dale had some issues with the coupler and had a frustrating day of new boat blues, but we figure it's just a matter of time before it's up and running great.

The real boat ran for Harvey Motorsports in 1991, but started life as the 1982 Atlas Van Lines after that as the Squire Shop and Oberto with Jim Harvey as crew chief and later as owner of the boat.  This is the first hull that competed with piston and turbine power in the same season under the Oberto colors.
