The model:  John brought this boat with him to the 2014 Silver Cup in Lacey.  The boat has potential, but needs a little more tweaking to perfect the balance and ride.  We hope to see it on the water in CT more in the future.

The real boat:  The boat was driven by Mitch Evans.  They were at or near the top of the qualifying ladder at every race, but never seemed to produce on race day.  The boat was a former Fred Leland hull that was bought by Jerry Rise to campaign under Appian sponsorship.
