The model:  Jeff built this beauty for the 2019 season and incorportated a second radio system to operate the front canard wing using a foot pedal he had used for his guitar. This is the type of innovation that sets Jeff apart. He is also an excellent builder and painter. The boat runs as good as it looks too. With limited action, it still earned 5th place in season points in its first season. It's a top performer.

The real boat:  The boat started life as a brand new hull coming out of Billy Schumacher's team shop under the sponsorship of Degree Men and driven by J.Michael Kelly. The unique drop sponson design and low profile set it apart. It was one of the prettiest boats out there. It cornered well, but got a little squirrelly on the long straights. Beacon Plumbing later took on the sponsorship and ran the boat with a couple of different paint schemes. The boat blew over in the Tri-Cities in 2013 and was heavily damaged.
