The model:  Andy bought this boat from Jeff Howard. Jeff had raced the boat as the Appian Jeronimo back in 2007. Andy replaced the sponsons with replacement ABS sponsons Jeff pulled and repainted the boat as the 1995 Miss Rock. The boat looks great and Andy did good work on the graphics and detail. He ran it a little in 2019, but it had some new boat kinks to work out. We're not sure what Andy intends to do with it in 2020, but we hope he will continue to race it.

The real boat:  This is another one of Fred Leland's fleet boats that ran under many names over the years. In 1995 it ran in other races as the Miss Wellness Plan and performed well for driver Mark Evans. Mark then filled in for the injured Chip Hanauer in the Budweiser for a couple of races. Mark was back at the wheel in Tri-Cities and Seattle when the Leland boat ran as Miss Rock.
