Dale Schroeder sold this boat to new 2008 member, Kevin Hansen, who drove it very well in his first race.  Kevin debuted at the 2008 Seafair Trophy race in Lacey.  This is a fast race boat and fared well right out of the box.  Mark Beatty did the paint job and it looks great.  Kevin looks to be a good driver and we'll hope to see him out for many more races.

This was arguably the fastest boat out there in the early part of the 69 season and was out there with some pretty good competition.  It, like the 69 Budweiser, were designed by Ed Karelsen and were the top dogs of their time.  The boat was just getting the bugs worked out when it stuffed its nose in the backstretch in Seattle late in the season and was basically all but destroyed.
