The model:  Mike did a great job with the mahogany work on this boat.  This is Mike's second boat for the 2007 season, having brought his Dutchman out of retirement to also compet in Division 1.

The real boat:  The boat was built in 1958 as the Miss Pay'n Save. It was designed by Ted Jones and built by Les Staudacher with the dropped sponson configuration. In 1959 it was purchased by the Stoen brothers and renamed Miss Seattle Too. Dallas Sartz and Bill Brow both handled the driving chores. The boat was destroyed in the 1962 Gold Cup race on Lake Washington with Dallas Sartz driving. Note: In the movie "Madison" the accident footage is used to represent the Atlas Van Lines crash.
