This was the first division 1 boat built for racing in 2005 by Pete Schille.  She was later replaced as Pete's top horse in the stable by the Blue Chip to start the season.  Pete never raced her and she got her second chance after being bought by Dale Schroeder just prior to the 2007 campaign.  She ran so well that Dan Clark's boss decided to buy it from Dale for 2008.  Dan couldn't live without it so he traded the boss some undisclosed items and got the boat back. "The ugly boat" has a place in his heart and in the club. In 2009 Dale decided he had to have it back and drove it at the 2009 Apple Cup.  This thing just keeps coming back!  In 2012 Dale loaned the boat to rookie Alex Deaver to get his feet wet in.  Alex qualified to driver at the 2012 Freedom Cup, drove well in the race and is keeping the boat alive and active in Classic Thunder for yet another season.

The real boat:  Famous for having one of the all time ugliest paint schemes in history.  It was pieced together from many leftover cans of paint that were found in the shop.
