This is Bob's latest Dame.  She was built for Bob for the 2005 season by Jeff and Mike Campbell and is constructed of carbon fiber.  Bob won the Gold Cup with her in 2006 and you can bet he'll be a contender for a long time.  The Dame is a good, steady performer and has certainly made a name for herself with Bob behind the wheel.

About the real boat: The “Shamrock Lady” was always on the verge of what was a very elusive first victory for driver Rex Manchester.  The boat was destroyed at the ’66 Presidents Cup in a collision with the Miss Budweiser.  Both Manchester and Budweiser driver Don Wilson were killed in the accident.  Rex Manchester was declared the winner of that race based on total points after the remainder of the race was cancelled.
